No funding planned for our space station
By Lzelaya

NASA's space programmer Michael T. Suffredini affirmed that in 2016 they are planning to de-orbit the space station . This is because there isn't a long term funding plan. Obama had announced this before the elections , but I am assuming that nobody saw past the shimmery hope and all this is a big surprise. Space exploration and education are now competing in obama's budget. Just like Krathammer wrote it in his article, this is like choosing to end poverty and not looking ahead. We already know that we will always need more money for education, but we have to look forward. Space exploration is our greatest accomplishment. We cannot forget what we are made of. We are made of dreams and ingenuity, we can send people to the moon. Let's not forget that, otherwise there will be politicians like Obama who think that it is a waste of human knowledge and not worthy of American tax dollars, yet he gives ACORN over 13 billion dollars.

Sotomayor went through rehearsals to be ready for the hearing
By LZelaya
July 13 2009

Judge Sotomayor has been sitting down with the senators to go over some questions for the hearing. Why would someone have to rehearse on principles and values? I thought that was something that came naturally. Obviously not the case for Sotomayor. There was one judge, his name is Robert H. Bork who in 1987 declined the questioning rehearsal. Judge Bork said that he was a Judge, and before that a law professor, therefore he didn't need a rehearsal. Judge Bork was criticized for his decision. I only see that decision as speaking from the heart. He knew that talking about values and principles isn't something that needs rehearsal. It would have been a little bit more favorable if Sotomayor spoke out of her values rather than speaking out of her notes and what she should say to get the position. Only people who are true to themselves step up against criticism as long as it is defending their values.

Warren Buffett Agrees With Second Stimulus Package
By Lzelaya
July 9, 2009

Warren Buffett is now approving a second stimulus package, even though he does say that the first one didn't work because it had "too much candy" in it. Warren said "Our first stimulus bill ... was sort of like taking half a tablet of Viagra and having also a bunch of candy mixed in ... as if everybody was putting in enough for their own constituents," my question is, What guarantees Mr. Buffett that the government has learned how to handle another stimulus? If there was too much candy in the first one, the second one will have even more candy because now we have states like California that are going to take more and not for the reasons a stimulus package was created in the first place. Every tax payer in the U.S. is going to pay for the people on welfare in California. A second stimulus package would just increase our debt unnecessarily. I know we aren't doing that great, but this is the time where the cream rises to the top. Please don't make it hard for the cream as well by increasing our taxes to bail people and government agencies out. Mr. Buffett is saying that he doesn't want Wall Street to make the money, he wants the American people to make the money, this is exactly what he said "I do not like the idea of any kind of a plan involving the government where Wall Street makes a lot of money. My plan provided that they would make no money whatsoever, and the American public would make the money. I just think that Wall Street owes the American people one at this point,"  Well Mr. Buffett who is going to run Wall Street if no one is making money? The American people sure isn't. Mr. Buffett you can't ask to take something away from someone. If you voluntarily want to give yours away that's fine, its your decision. You can't tell someone to work for nothing and you can't measure the rewards, it's that simple.

More Bailouts for GM!!
By Lzelaya
July 6 2009

The government has planned to give GM an additional 20 billion dollars by the end of the year. Tax payers own 60% of GM, and we have the government deciding who is going to be looking after our investment. The Obama administration has Steven Rattner the head of Autos Task Force (what does that even mean?) deciding who runs it. Rattner said that they want GM to concentrate on building cars and making money. Well, this isn't going to work. Since when some entity who isn't obligated to make money to survive will build a product worthy of competition? and if they do, how long are they going to take to build a car? Unions aren't there for a profit, they just want to employ as many people as they can overlooking the operation costs, acting like a true bully. Rattner also said that they are not going to start picking colors of cars, what i think is that NOT YET! Usually the environmental laws are tested in California at a state level, if it works the environmental laws become federal law." The California Air Resources Board said Friday that it has no plans “at this time” to regulate car paint as part of a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions" stated Martin Zimmerman from the LA Times . Lets just wait "till it's time."

I really don't know if Honduras is doing the right thing in not letting ex president Zelaya arrive at the airport today on July 5th 2009. I think the new administration might be doing this because they want to avoid any riots that may come if the ex president was arrested at his arrival. Maybe this strategy isn't the right one, but we will see what happens.

Governor Palin comes out a little more clear about her decision, on facebook she said "I am now looking ahead and how we can advance this country together with our values of less government intervention, greater energy independence, stronger national security, and much-needed fiscal restraint. I hope you will join me. Now is the time to rebuild and help our nation achieve greatness!" Thank You Governor we are looking forward to a new future and we are willing to work with you.

 Obama sympathizing with the Leftists
By Lzelaya
July 4th 2009

Obama again decides to remain silent when North Korea launches missiles on July 4th. This doesn’t surprise me i already know that whenever a communists country is doing something illegal, he suddenly runs out of accusations. We could see an example of this when he rapidly took the side of Chavez and Castro in condemning Honduras for fighting for their democracy. We already know Mr. President that you sympathize with the leftist and the further left they are the more you remain quiet.

Honduras leaves the OAS
By LZelaya
July 4th 2009

Honduras voluntarily leaves the OAS after the visit of the General Secretary Jose Miguel Insulza. Insulza had gone to Honduras to try to negotiate the return of the ex president Manuel Zelaya. If you have followed the OAS, you would know that this organization is a joke. Unfortunately, the US belongs to this “organization.” All of the American countries including the US have united to block Honduras because they threw out of power Manuel Zelaya, who we know was planning to reform the constitution like the Dictator of Venezuela Hugo Chavez did. In fact, congress, the supreme court and the electoral college had told Zelaya not to go ahead wiTh this referendum he was planning to do on June 28, 2009 because it was ruled unconstitutional by the supreme court. Honduras was purely acting according to their constitution. The very first thing the Obama administration said was that they wouldn’t recognize the current administration of Honduras. This statement put Obama in line with Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. Mr. Obama, if you find yourself in the same side as Chavez and Castro I think it’s time to reconsider your statement. Since when is it acceptable for Cuba to demand democracy in Honduras? I mean, it’s very ironic. Therefore, this condemnation the countries have given to Honduras for defending their democracy is a JOKE!. The OAS is blocking Honduras, when earlier this year they were considering on bringing Cuba to the organization. If you can’t see the irony and you think that the rest of the countries are right to want to block Honduras, then you do not deserve to live in a free world. For you people who say they like communist countries and defend that system with a passion, why don’t you move to Cuba or North Korea? I would really love to ship you myself, and please let us all live in the free system that we enjoy.

DeMint Supports Honduran military's Decision
        By LZelaya
July 03,2009
We love Senator Jim Demint, he always knows what to say and who to support. This time he understands the problems Honduras is facing and he also understands that Obama and his administration have taken the same side of the Castro twins, Chavez and all of his followers. DeMint's statement was "The people of Honduras have struggled too long to have their hard-won democracy stolen from them by a Chavez-style dictator. The Honduran Congress, the Honduran Supreme Court, and the Honduran military have acted in accordance to the Honduran constitution and the rule of law. [...] I am hopeful that as President Obama grows in office, he will eventually turn away from despots like Ahmadinejad, Chavez, Castro, and Zelaya, and give the United States' full-throated support to the people of any country who are fighting for the same values we cherish and defend in America. The people fighting for freedom around the world, in Iran and Honduras, should never have to wonder which side America will choose between freedom and tyranny.

"President Obama's call for the reinstatement of Zelaya is a slap in the face to the people of Honduras. And the resolution written by the Organization of American States tramples over the hopes and dreams of a free and democratic people.

"The rule of law is working in Honduras. President Obama should not undermine the democratic institutions that guarantee freedom by forcing an illegitimate President back into power."

I say it again...we love Jim DeMint.
